I am looking for a position where I have the opportunity to work with a variety of animals. My love for training and grooming horses and dogs has brought me seeking a job on a ranch, at a shelter, or at a veterinary clinic just helping any way I possibly can.
Dependable, hard working, open to new ideas, a quick learner, outgoing, adventurous, observant, works well with others, willing to try new things and gain as much experience as I can.
I worked for Domino’s in Glenwood Springs, for approximately four months, in 2014-15
Took orders over the counter and over the phone, Made orders, and prep food and drinks.
Master Electrician assistant, for most of my life.
Worked on ladders uninstalling and installing lights, and cleaning up after the job was finished.
Working as a Ranch hand all my life.
Feeding and maintaining on the ranch, grooming horses and working them, grooming ranch dogs as well.
I currently attend school at Yampah Mountain High School in Glenwood Springs. I will be graduating High School in May 2015.

To Whom It May Concern:
It is my privilege to contribute this letter of recommendation for Briana “Jo” Carlson. Jo has attended Yampah Mountain High School through a powerfully transitional time in her life. In her few young years, she has experienced multiple tragic losses that had the power to derail the average kid. But Jo is not average, and rather than allowing these deaths to define her life, she has chosen to use these experiences to shape her character in to one of hope, joy, curiosity and creativity. Simply, Jo knows that life can be short and living fully but not recklessly can be the greatest legacy to carry.
Jo has a natural talent for the creative life. She is a musician, an artist and a poet. She literally “creates” as comfortably as she breathes. She sees the world through the eyes and soul of a visionary and seldom walks through the day without painting, drawing, gluing, writing, singing or playing her heart out. In addition to these qualities, Jo is simply a blast to be around. She smiles and engages with ease- welcoming people into her world and courageously allowing her vulnerability to link herself to others.
She shows up for life, and she believes deeply and faithfully in her future. Jo has not had many opportunities to attend programs like those at Anderson Ranch and she will be absolutely empowered by the work you do - I only wish all staff who serve kids could spend an uninterrupted week of creativity beside Jo as she fearlessly embraces this opportunity; it would feed their souls as fully as hers. Please accept my unconditional support and referral to your program…not only will Jo’s life be tremendously enriched by this opportunity, all those around her will be enriched as well.
I encourage you to call if you have further questions. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Regards,
Sonja Linman
